The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Castro passes into half guard.
Castro wants to free his trapped foot but Hampuncher is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hampuncher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hampuncher is not content to let Castro control the position.
Hampuncher tries to roll over but Castro keeps him under control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hampuncher has eaten all the pies!
Castro is looking to take a break and control but Hampuncher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hampuncher is pressing down on Castro's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hampuncher keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hampuncher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hampuncher sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Castro prevents Hampuncher from improving his position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Castro is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hampuncher had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Castro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hampuncher Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Castro's back instead.
Castro is keeping busy.
Castro just trying to survive but Hampuncher is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Castro rolls, trying to escape but Hampuncher keeps control of the position.

Hampuncher is persistently looking for the submission but Castro is defending it well.

Hampuncher is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Castro taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Hampuncher.
