Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Stam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerrero comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Storm. Stam is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tony Iommi - Grace. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddie Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonard Stam!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stam swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Guerrero swinging wildly here.
Stam shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerrero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Stam slips a jab and a cross from Guerrero.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stam.
Stam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Eddie Guerrero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonard Stam.
Guerrero throws a lazy right hand but Stam sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Leonard Stam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guerrero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Guerrero just misses with a punch to the body.
Stam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guerrero sprawls well. Guerrero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stam gets slowly back to his feet.
Stam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stam blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stam takes one to the chin there.
Stam misses with a body punch
and Guerrero counters with a right hand to the body.
Stam looks gassed!
Guerrero thuds his right hand into Stam's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like Leonard Stam has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Guerrero ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice cross by Guerrero.
Stam is trying desperately to land a takedown but Guerrero is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stam.

Guerrero cracks Stam with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Guerrero has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stam to stand back up!


Stam is rocked!
Guerrero throws a hook but Stam avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Guerrero! Stam is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
