The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red tries to clinch there but Pennx circles away.
Red tries for a takedown but Pennx circles away easily
and Pennx connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Red misses with a body shot.
Red is looking to clinch but Pennx is avoiding it.
Pennx throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Red.
Pennx scores with a three punch combo!
Red doesn't manage to clinch there - Pennx circles away.
Red drops his hands momentarily and Pennx takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Red really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pennx throws a body punch but Red moves out of range.
Pennx misses with a straight left.
Red showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pennx.
Sphinyx Red seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Red misses with a takedown
and Pennx counters with a nice body shot.
Red doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pennx makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sphinyx Red. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pennx pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Pennx scores with a hook to the body. Red takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Pennx counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Some wild striking there from Pennx.
Pennx lands a jab.
Red takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Red misses with a shot to the body
and Pennx counters with a head kick.
Red is rocked!
BAM! Pennx delivers a spinning backfist that drops Red like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
