The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verbruggen throws an off balance right hand
and Alexio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Alexio lands with a straight right. Verbruggen didn't see that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alexio. Verbruggen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alexio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alexio misses the shot to the body.
Alexio swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Verbruggen swings widly with a right hand
letting Alexio counter with a right hand.
It looks like Remi Verbruggen has been cut.
Alexio lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Alexio lands a glancing blow to the side of Verbruggen's head.
Verbruggen jabs Alexio to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Alexio lands a big head kick that sends Verbruggen tumbling to the mat! Alexio takes a step backwards and waves Verbruggen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Verbruggen is rocked!
That has opened up Remi Verbruggen's cut even more.

Verbruggen leaves his chin hanging out and Alexio seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Verbruggen crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
