Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nel Francia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Metzki Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francia comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the name - fort minor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Francia counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Francia misses with a wild combination.
Metzki Kidd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Francia doesn't manage to clinch there - Kidd circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Francia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Francia closes the distance but Kidd moves to the side
and Kidd counters with a nice double leg into side control. Francia won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kidd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Francia, who protects the arm well.
The ground and pound from Kidd seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kidd's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Kidd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Francia's guard.
