Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Defoe Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Defoe Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Raymond Chow!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids the body shot from Chow.
Chow stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Chow throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Chow misses with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chow. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Chow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chow's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chow duly obliges.

Gracie misses with a takedown
and Chow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chow swings widly with a right hand
and Gracie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chow misses with a body shot.
Chow throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily.
Chow looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Chow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chow sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Chow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chow trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Gracie throwing shots but Chow is blocking nicely.
Chow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Chow is looking to improve his position.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chow defends it well.
Chow slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Chow's legs - danger averted.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chow swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chow!
Chow working the ground and pound but Gracie is defending the strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chow.

Chow has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gracie!

Chow throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Chow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Gracie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Gracie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Chow ducks down to avoid it.

Chow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chow.
Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.

Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie misses with a hook. Chow ducked under it nicely.
Chow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.
Chow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Chow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Chow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chow manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Chow's guard.
Chow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there.

Gracie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Chow tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chow's guard.
Chow is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Chow is defending it quite comfortably.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chow is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chow avoid being mounted?
Gracie is keen to just control but Chow is a slippery customer.
Chow is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Chow has his hands on Gracie's head, controlling the position.
Chow is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gracie postures up and lands a big shot to Chow's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Defoe Gracie will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Chow throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Chow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.

Chow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Chow throws a combination that misses
and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Chow looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chow looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Chow looking for subs off his back but Gracie has passed one foot through into half guard.
Chow is positioning himself well to prevent Gracie advancing to mount.

Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Gracie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chow and Gracie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Chow prevents Gracie from improving position.
Chow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Chow gets back to half guard.
Gracie is trying to control. Chow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Chow trying to control but Gracie postures up.

Chow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Chow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Chow is defending well.
Chow wants to get back to full guard.

Raymond Chow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chow has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
