Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doroteo El Pancho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Pancho's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Corrido Villista by Los Alegres de Teran. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doroteo El Pancho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Lauzon! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Pancho fails in his attempt to clinch. El Pancho shoots for a double leg takedown but Lauzon sprawls well. He's pushed El Pancho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Lauzon as El Pancho shoots in. Lauzon throws a series of punches but El Pancho moves out of range. El Pancho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lauzon as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doroteo El Pancho. That's going to take a lot out of him. El Pancho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lauzon's waist but Lauzon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing El Pancho off to one side. Lauzon stuffs the takedown attempt from El Pancho. El Pancho gets slowly back to his feet. El Pancho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lauzon throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Lauzon tries to improve position but can't. Lauzon pushes El Pancho away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, El Pancho gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. El Pancho tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lauzon's legs. El Pancho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lauzon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. El Pancho is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lauzon tries to get back to half guard but can't. El Pancho advances to full mount. El Pancho working for a guillotine from mount but Lauzon is in no mood to give up. El Pancho is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lauzon has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lauzon! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. El Pancho has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lauzon has passed into side control.
Lauzon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but El Pancho is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. El Pancho is looking to regain half guard here but Lauzon keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lauzon scoring with punches from side control. El Pancho is looking for a sweep. El Pancho gets back to half guard. El Pancho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for El Pancho. El Pancho wants to sweep here but Lauzon controlling him for the moment. El Pancho is looking for a triangle but Lauzon pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lauzon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
El Pancho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. El Pancho is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. El Pancho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lauzon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lauzon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lauzon landing with the ground and pound. El Pancho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. El Pancho throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lauzon escapes and throws El Pancho's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lauzon tries to advance to mount but can't. El Pancho is trying to improve his position. El Pancho manages to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doroteo El Pancho dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
El Pancho moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lauzon looks to land a combination but El Pancho avoids it well. El Pancho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lauzon stuffs the takedown. No luck for El Pancho with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doroteo El Pancho. That's going to take a lot out of him. El Pancho takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jab, jab by Lauzon - just one landing. Lauzon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lauzon lands a brutal head kick. El Pancho looks out on his feet and Lauzon throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
