Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rubadub Sanford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algimantas Butautas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butautas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Evil Walks kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Butautas clinches.
Butautas prevents Sanford from breaking the clinch.

Sanford is fighting to break Butautas's control of his arms but Butautas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Butautas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Butautas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanford's head.

Butautas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanford is just riding it out for now. Butautas eventually gives up the hold.

Butautas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sanford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Butautas on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Butautas has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sanford is squirming around, avoiding Butautas's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Butautas wants to finish this one by submission but Sanford is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Butautas.

Butautas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanford can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Butautas looks gassed!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Butautas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Butautas throws a sloppy head kick and Sanford moves out of range easily.
Rubadub Sanford is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sanford lands a head kick. Butautas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Sanford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rubadub Sanford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Butautas.

and Butautas counters with a good, hard body kick but Sanford shrugs it off.

Sanford throws a sloppy head kick and Butautas moves out of range easily.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Sanford! Butautas is backing up but he can't get away as Sanford lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Butautas and ends the fight. Great knockout.
