Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johan Perciwall!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siver throws a head kick but Perciwall moves out of range.
Perciwall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perciwall wants it to stay on the feet.
Siver closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perciwall circles away.
Perciwall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Perciwall tries a head kick but it misses.
Siver tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Perciwall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Siver looks for a takedown but Perciwall sprawls well.

Perciwall wants to pass the guard but Siver is keeping the position.
Oh Siver is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Perciwall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Perciwall wants to get up but he can't break Siver's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Siver seems to have got his legs back now.
Siver tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Perciwall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Siver wants to stand up but Perciwall is controlling him.
Siver is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Perciwall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Siver shoots in for a takedown but Perciwall shows good takedown defense.
Perciwall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perciwall misses with the combination.
Siver tries to clinch but Perciwall moves away
and Siver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Perciwall throws a right hand that Siver ducks under and follows up with a left that Siver also avoids with ease.
Siver could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Perciwall throws a sloppy head kick and Siver moves out of range easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Siver blocks a head kick by Perciwall.
Perciwall fails to land with a series of punches.
Siver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Perciwall's waist but Perciwall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Siver off to one side.
Perciwall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Siver.
No joy there for Perciwall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Perciwall misses with a head kick.
No luck for Siver with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johan Perciwall dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Perciwall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Siver backs up against the cage.
Siver thows a leg kick but Perciwall checks it
and Perciwall counters with a one-two to the body.
Siver moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Siver pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A head kick by Perciwall misses

and Siver counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Siver stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Perciwall slaps away a takedown attempt from Siver, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Siver avoids the head kick by Perciwall.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Siver dives in and grabs Perciwall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perciwall pushes down on Siver's head and hops out.
Siver blocks a head kick by Perciwall.
Perciwall misses with a straight left.

Siver closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
A lull in the action here as Siver stalls from top position.
Siver throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Perciwall parries the strikes from Siver easily there. Siver is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Perciwall to escape.

Perciwall is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Siver is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Perciwall wants to get back to his feet but Siver is dominant here and he's now got Perciwall's back!
Siver controls the action.
