Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Squaretree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ball comes to the cage accompanied by Hammer Smashed Face. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Squaretree as he jumps to the side.
Squaretree misses with a lunging right hand
and Ball counters with a left to the body.
Ball looks to throw the jab but Squaretree is out of range.
Ball scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Colin Squaretree has been cut.
Ball shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Squaretree pinned against the cage. Squaretree gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A left lands for Ball.
Ball scores a takedown into full mount!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ball landing strikes from the mount and Squaretree is in trouble!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Squaretree can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ball trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ball in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ball postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Squaretree looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ball cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
