Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Percy Evans is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Percy Evans! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans throws a sloppy head kick and Hardy moves out of range easily. Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardy tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Evans tries to stand and escape but Hardy is controlling the position. Hardy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Evans. Hardy tries to get to full guard but Evans has control of the leg. Hardy is defending against the submission attempts here by Evans.
Evans prevents Hardy from standing back up.
Evans slips a nice elbow through Hardy's hands, connecting with Hardy's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Evans passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hardy! Evans is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hardy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Evans working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hardy wants to control but Evans is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans has control of Hardy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Evans looks gassed! Hardy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Evans thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hardy holds of for dear life. Hardy manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control. Hardy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Evans wants to work for an arm triangle but Hardy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hardy is trying is best to control the position here. Evans trying to mount his opponent but Hardy defends it. Hardy lands a couple of sideways elbows. Evans is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hardy is just riding it out for now. Evans eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Evans is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Evans missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Percy Evans dominated that round. That's time! Hardy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hardy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardy stands up and we're back to a striking position. Evans shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hardy counters by clinching up. Hardy is trying to drag Evans to the mat but Evans just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hardy wants a takedown.
Hardy gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Evans on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Evans is pressing down on Hardy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Evans is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy is really struggling to control Evans but he's trying to hold on to the position. Hardy won't allow Evans to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dan Hardy. Hardy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Evans looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Evans trying to remain calm as Hardy controls from the top position. Hardy landing strikes. Evans takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy stands up and beckons Evans to his feet. Hardy stalks Evans and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Evans's face. Evans staggers backwards, shaken. Hardy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Evans's guard. Hardy cracks Evans with a solid left hand. Hardy stopping the sweep attempt from Evans. Hardy stands up and waves to Evans to follow him. Hardy has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Evans gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Hardy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Evans has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hardy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Evans is pressed up against the cage. Hardy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Evans down to the mat. Evans avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Evans gets caught flat footed, as Hardy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Evans keeping full guard, as Hardy tries to pass. Evans avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Evans keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully. Evans wants to stand and escape but Hardy is having none of it. Hardy wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hardy tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard. Hardy lands a couple of elbows. Hardy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hardy scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hardy gets to his feet - Evans follows without any prompting. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hardy scores with a takedown into Evans's guard. Hardy stops Evans from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hardy dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Hardy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Evans tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hardy is in Evans's guard. Hardy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hardy controls from within his opponent's guard. Hardy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hardy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hardy pushing down on Evans's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Evans takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nice strikes from Hardy there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy working Evans over with strikes. Hardy lands with a punch from half guard. Hardy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ground and pound from Hardy. Evans is trying to stand back up but Hardy is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hardy connects with a nice short shot to Evans's temple. Hardy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Hardy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Evans napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hardy slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy tries for a kimura but Evans is defending well. Hardy stands up and beckons Evans to his feet. Hardy clinches with his opponent.
Hardy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Evans pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy wants to stand but Evans has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hardy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Evans is keeping the position for now. Evans keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully. Hardy cracks Evans with a solid left hand. Hardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hardy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Evans works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hardy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Evans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Evans has momentary wrist control but Hardy slips an elbow through the middle. Hardy is in close to Evans's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Hardy showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hardy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
