PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mocny Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacky Wacky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jacky Wacky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacky Wacky!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad tries to clinch up but Wacky circles away and keeps his distance.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vlad, right into the meat.
Vlad swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Vlad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wacky, pushing him back against the cage.
Vlad throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wacky blocks it with crossed arms.

Vlad breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wacky fails to land with a series of punches.
Wacky slips a jab and a cross from Vlad.

Vlad moves to clinch but Wacky breaks away
and Wacky counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Vlad lands with a kick to the temple. Wacky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wacky crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vlad - the referee stops the clock and Wacky gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vlad. Wacky manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vlad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vlad shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wacky eats them both and turns towards Vlad to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
