Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Tulirinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Hais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tulirinta comes to the cage accompanied by Aphrodite - Ganja Man. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Tulirinta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Philip Hais! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Hais, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hais throws a sloppy body shot
and Tulirinta counters with a stiff right hand. Hais connects with a body shot. Hais throws a leg kick but Tulirinta sees it coming and moves out of range. Hais shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A left lands for Hais. Hais tries to land a leg kick but Tulirinta saw it coming and moves away.
Tulirinta slips a jab and a cross from Hais.
Hais wants to slow Tulirinta down by chopping away at his legs. Tulirinta feints and as Hais raises his hands in defense, Tulirinta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hais keeping moving, preventing Tulirinta from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tulirinta looking to pass the guard. Tulirinta postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hais is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tulirinta, into his guard. Tulirinta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tulirinta looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tulirinta is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tulirinta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hais can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tulirinta looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hais trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tulirinta's guard. Tulirinta wants to control the position but Hais says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tulirinta has a hand on Hais's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hais takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Tulirinta tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hais controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tulirinta is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tulirinta is working hard here to advance position. Hais avoids the attempt from Tulirinta to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tulirinta tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tulirinta is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hais prevents Tulirinta from getting the reversal. Hais controlling from the full mount. Tulirinta working to try and regain half guard.
Hais looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Philip Hais dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hais lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tulirinta circles away quickly and effectively. Hais misses with a double jab
so Tulirinta counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hais keeping full guard, as Tulirinta tries to pass. Tulirinta trying to control the position from guard on top but Hais is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tulirinta pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hais is keeping the position for now. Tulirinta trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tulirinta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hais is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hais has escaped and now he's on top! Tulirinta controls Hais momentarily but Hais frees himself. Hais preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tulirinta controls Hais momentarily but Hais frees himself. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Tulirinta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hais gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tulirinta looking for a sweep. Not yet Tulirinta, not yet. Hais wanted to stand there but Tulirinta had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hais is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Hais stopping the sweep attempt from Tulirinta. Tulirinta controls Hais momentarily but Hais frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tulirinta tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tulirinta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hais stopping the sweep attempt from Tulirinta. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hais falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tulirinta counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hais's guard now. Tulirinta prevents Hais from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Tulirinta dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hais swinging wildly here.
Hais leaves Tulirinta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tulirinta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hais misses with a straight left. Hais misses with a two punch combination.
Tulirinta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hais counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Tulirinta. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hais. Tulirinta blocks a head kick by Hais.
Hais attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hais throws a nice looking combination but Tulirinta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hais misses the shot to the body. Hais throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tulirinta wants to clinch. Tulirinta on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hais fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tulirinta shoots for a takedown but Hais saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hais walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tulirinta checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hais gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hais working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tulirinta.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hais wants to stand and escape but Tulirinta is having none of it. Tulirinta wants to control from the top but Hais keeps moving. Tulirinta wants to pass the guard but Hais is keeping the position. Tulirinta trying to control but Hais is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcus Tulirinta. Tulirinta keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tulirinta gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hais.
It looks like Marcus Tulirinta has been cut. Philip Hais is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tulirinta shoots and misses and Hais connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hais throws a combination that misses and Tulirinta counters with a nice double leg into guard. Tulirinta tries to free his leg and advance position but Hais is retaining full guard. Tulirinta trying to move into half guard but instead Hais has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hais stands up and waves to Tulirinta to follow him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A punch combination from Hais misses. Tulirinta checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Tulirinta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hais.
Hais looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tulirinta slips a jab and a cross from Hais.
Hais throws a right hand that Tulirinta ducks under and follows up with a left that Tulirinta also avoids with ease. Tulirinta has his takedown stuffed letting Hais counter with a right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Philip Hais comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hais has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
