Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Njord Freyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onufry Zagloba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freyr comes into the arena with Twilight of the Thunder God blaring out of the sound system. Onufry Zagloba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freyr misses with a low kick.
Zagloba avoids the body shot from Freyr.
Freyr misses with a hook to the body
and Zagloba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zagloba throws a hook to the side of Freyr's head but Freyr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zagloba moves in looking to clinch but Freyr pushes him off.
Zagloba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A looping hook to the body misses from Freyr. Zagloba does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zagloba shoots in looking for a takedown. Freyr tries to sprawl out of it but Zagloba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freyr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zagloba rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Freyr counters with a right hand to the body.
Freyr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Freyr is looking to wear down Zagloba with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Freyr tries to land a leg kick but Zagloba saw it coming and moves away.
Freyr feints and then cracks Zagloba's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zagloba down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Freyr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zagloba doesn't seem bothered though.
Freyr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zagloba's sensitive parts.
Freyr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zagloba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Zagloba might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Freyr has got the better of the exchanges.
Freyr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zagloba.

Freyr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zagloba can do to turn this around?

The crowd cheers as Freyr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Zagloba doesn't seem phased though.

Zagloba takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Freyr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zaglobas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Freyr lands with a hook. Zagloba tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Zagloba takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A solid leg kick lands there for Freyr.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zagloba is trying desperately to land a takedown but Freyr is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Zagloba.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Zagloba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freyr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zagloba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zagloba has gone for a leg lock! Freyr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zagloba's guard.

Freyr stands up and waves to Zagloba to follow him.
Njord Freyr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Freyr lands with a cross.
Freyr cracks a nice hook into Zagloba's ribs.

and Zagloba makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Zagloba sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Freyr thuds his right hand into Zagloba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Zagloba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zagloba walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zagloba takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Freyr counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zagloba thinking.

Zagloba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Onufry Zagloba has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Freyr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
