Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Petri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Facada Nobuxo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petri's entrance music is Seek and Destroy. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobuxo shoots in for a takedown but Petri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Nobuxo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Petri's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Nobuxo counters with a shoot takedown. Petri fights it but they end up in guard.

Petri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nobuxo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nobuxo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Petri kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
