Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skull Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crusher has chosen last caress as his entrance music. Skull Crusher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mathew Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Skull Crusher! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crusher tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Bell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Crusher manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bell controlling the action here. Bell wants to stand but Crusher has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Crusher is pressing down on Bell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crusher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bell has managed to get both his arms back between Crusher's legs - danger averted. Bell wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving. Crusher is trying to keep Bell in close.
Bell throws a big right hand that misses. Crusher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell looking to pass the guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The fight stays on the outside here - Crusher looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crusher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Skull Crusher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Crusher looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bell is keen to just control but Crusher is a slippery customer. Crusher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crusher. Bell's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bell is aware though and is defending well. Crusher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bell manages to get himself to full guard.
Bell is breathing heavily. Crusher stands and throws Bell's legs to the side, diving into side control. Crusher trying to control the action but Bell is working from the bottom. Crusher tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crusher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Crusher tries to stand but Bell is controlling his head. Crusher in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher wants to stand but Bell has his arm trapped. Bell takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Crusher is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bell has escaped the position, nice work there. Crusher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working. Bell wants to control but Crusher postures up. Bell is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Crusher is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Bell is trying to escape the mount.
Crusher lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bell hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher with a couple of short strikes. Crusher with the ground and pound from mount. Bell is trying to escape the mount.
Bell is squirming around, avoiding Crusher's attempts to control the action. Bell working to try and regain half guard.
Bell tries to hold on but Crusher postures up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crusher looking to finish with strikes here!
A nice elbow there by Crusher. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Skull Crusher dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Crusher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Crusher wants to get back to his feet.
Crusher is pressing down on Bell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bell trying to control but Crusher is working from the bottom. Bell is posturing up here but Crusher has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bell tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bell has to tap! Slick submission there by Crusher!
