Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Kajiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Nikolaevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satoshi Kajiwara could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vlad Nikolaevsky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Kajiwara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vlad Nikolaevsky! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nikolaevsky stuffs the takedown. Kajiwara fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kajiwara shoots in for a double leg but Nikolaevsky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satoshi Kajiwara. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Kajiwara with that takedown attempt. Nikolaevsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kajiwara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nikolaevsky is looking to take a break and control but Kajiwara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nikolaevsky tries to stand but Kajiwara controls the position and pulls Nikolaevsky into his guard. Nikolaevsky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kajiwara kicks Nikolaevsky off and gets to his feet. Nikolaevsky closes the distance but Kajiwara moves to the side and Kajiwara counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nikolaevsky won't be happy with that. Kajiwara is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nikolaevsky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kajiwara is trying to get an arm triangle but Nikolaevsky is defending well. A control attempt from Nikolaevsky but he's now mounted! Nikolaevsky tries to hold on but Kajiwara postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kajiwara is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Kajiwara shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nikolaevsky sprawls well. Nikolaevsky wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kajiwara gets slowly back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kajiwara fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nikolaevsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kajiwara circles away. Nikolaevsky closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kajiwara quickly recovers to half guard. Nikolaevsky trying to control the action but Kajiwara is working from the bottom. Nikolaevsky looks gassed! Kajiwara trying to control here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kajiwara is looking for a sweep. Nikolaevsky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kajiwara gets back to full guard.
Kajiwara is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nikolaevsky is controlling him. Kajiwara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nikolaevsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kajiwara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kajiwara has a closed guard, preventing Nikolaevsky from standing up. Kajiwara controlling Nikolaevsky's posture. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kajiwara's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Satoshi Kajiwara dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kajiwara throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nikolaevsky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kajiwara is in Nikolaevsky's guard. Kajiwara is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nikolaevsky keeping moving, preventing Kajiwara from controlling successfully. Kajiwara drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kajiwara as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nikolaevsky screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kajiwara! Nice submission victory there!
