The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder scores with a jab.
Thunder tries to score with a low kick but Roberts moves his leg out of the way.
Roberts misses with a left hand
and Roberts takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thunder has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thunder there as he acknowledges the shot.
Thunder thows a left - swing and a miss!
Thunder throws a hook to the side of Roberts's head but Roberts sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thunder misses with an uppercut
and Roberts counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roberts throws a right and a left that Thunder avoids nicely.
Roberts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roberts walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Roberts misses with a hook
and Thunder counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Roberts lands a big right hand that sends Thunder crashing to the mat! Roberts stays standing though and waves Thunder back to his feet!

Thunder just misses with a punch to the body.
Thunder gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Roberts gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Thunder is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
