The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabolotny rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tavolieri moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tavolieri gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Zabolotny counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Luke Tavolieri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tavolieri doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zabolotny counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zabolotny lands a big right hand that sends Tavolieri crashing to the mat! Zabolotny stays standing though and waves Tavolieri back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tavolieri shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zabolotny counters with a big right hand! Oh Tavolieri is in trouble here! Zabolotny follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
