Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Mundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Dillon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Mundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Brian Dillon!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon doesn't manage to clinch there - Mundy circles away.
Nice combo by Dillon! Oh, that's hurt him - Mundy falls to the canvas and Dillon follows him into side control.

Nice uppercut lands for Dillon. That snapped Mundy's head back.

Dillon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Mundy counters with a shoot takedown. Dillon fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Dillon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mundy pushing down on Dillon's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mundy wants to pass the guard but Dillon is defending well.
Mundy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Mundy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Dillon looks to clinch

and Mundy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dillon's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mundy sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Mundy trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mundy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mundy showed some decent athleticism there.
Mundy moves into full mount! Dillon won't be happy about that!
Mundy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mundy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Horrible takedown by Mundy or perhaps it was just good defense by Dillon which made him look bad.

Mundy closes the distance and clinches up with Dillon, looking for a takedown. Mundy pushes Dillon against the cage but Dillon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mundy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mundy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mundy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dillon keeps working.
Mundy works his foot free and advances to mount.

Mundy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dillon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mundy has isolated one of Dillon's arms. Dillon looking to fight him off but Mundy twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
