Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Skeet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andreas Webster!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster shoots in looking for a takedown but Skeet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Webster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Skeet rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Webster counters with a takedown into side control.

Webster thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Skeet tries to improve position but can't.

Webster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Skeet, who protects the arm well.

Webster tries for a kimura but Skeet is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Webster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Skeet has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Webster is trying to get an arm triangle but Skeet is defending well.
Skeet struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Skeet tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Webster wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Skeet is trying to control Webster's posture but Webster avoids it.

Webster is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Skeet is trying to escape and Webster transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Skeet is forced to tap! Nice work there by Webster! Very nice indeed!
