Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brent Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regan Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brent Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Regan Hendricks! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks fails with the takedown and Miller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Miller moves into range and clinches up with Hendricks. Hendricks gets control of Miller's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hendricks will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hendricks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Hendricks's legs - danger averted. Hendricks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hendricks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Miller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hendricks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miller wants to control from the top but Hendricks keeps moving. Miller is breathing heavily. Hendricks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hendricks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hendricks keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Hendricks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller. Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Hendricks gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hendricks works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hendricks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miller defends it well. Hendricks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miller sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller manages to escape and get back to his feet! Hendricks fails with the takedown and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller is sitting in close to Hendricks's body. Hendricks has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Miller is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Miller is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hendricks.
