The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hawking changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Davis takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Davis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is looking to improve his position.
Hawking throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davis is looking for a sweep. Hawking is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hawking throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hawking throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It looks like Stephen Hawking has been cut.

and Davis counters with a nice uppercut.
Stephen Hawking seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hawking stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hawking fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Hawking comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Davis stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Hawking is on him like rabid pit bull! Davis slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
