The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pedrosyan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pedrosyan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Barnes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Barnes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pedrosyan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pedrosyan uses his free foot to push down on Barnes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Barnes.
