Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lin comes into the arena with Advance On v2 blaring out of the sound system. Polo has chosen Mind, Body, & Soul as his entrance music. Roger Lin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marco Polo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Lin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marco Polo! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polo tries to clinch and Lin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Polo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Marco Polo has been cut. Lin drives through with a takedown into guard. Lin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lin thows a big elbow that misses. Lin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lin distracts Polo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Polo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Polo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lin throws a big right hand that misses. Lin trying to control the position from guard on top but Polo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Polo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lin is one step ahead there. Polo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lin defends well. Lin postures up in Polo's guard and throws a big left but Polo blocks it. Lin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Polo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lin postures up and lands a big shot to Polo's brow. Lin throws a strike but Polo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Polo stopping the sweep attempt from Lin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Polo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lin! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lin cracks Polo with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That has opened up Marco Polo's cut even more. Lin working away. Polo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lin connects with a decent elbow.
The cut above Marco Polo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Lin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Marco Polo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marco Polo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Roger Lin!
