Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dumaz Stonemen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ryan's choice of entrance music: Freestyler. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but Stonemen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Ryan or perhaps it was just good defense by Stonemen which made him look bad.
Dumaz Stonemen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Ryan.
Ryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Stonemen sprawls well. He's pushed Ryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ryan tries to clinch but Stonemen moves away

and Stonemen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Stonemen is pressed up against the cage. Ryan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stonemen down to the mat. Stonemen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ryan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stonemen defends it nicely.

and Ryan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ryan.

Stonemen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Ryan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Stonemen keeping moving, preventing Ryan from controlling successfully.
Ryan looking to sit in guard and control but Stonemen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stonemen stands and steps away. Ryan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Stonemen wants to clinch but Ryan slips to the side

and Ryan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stonemen can't keep his opponent in guard - Ryan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Stonemen is trying to stand back up but Ryan is controlling him
Ryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stonemen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ryan wants to pass to mount but Stonemen is defending the position.

Ryan is trying to control. Stonemen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ryan wants to work for an arm triangle but Stonemen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stonemen is trying to stand back up but Ryan is controlling him
Ryan moves into full mount! Stonemen won't be happy about that!
Stonemen is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ryan wants to control the pace but Stonemen is squirming around nicely.
Ryan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stonemen's face.
Stonemen is squirming around, avoiding Ryan's attempts to control the action.
Ryan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ryan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ryan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stonemen is looking to escape.

Ryan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stonemen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ryan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stonemen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Stonemen is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Ryan is cranking Stonemen's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Stonemen! He's tightened the choke and Stonemen is tapping out!
