Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamiyashi Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki swings away with a body shot that misses
and Andrew counters with a straight right hand.
Andrew rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Suzuki counters with a nice uppercut.
Andrew lands a high kick!
Nice defenses there by Suzuki.
Andrew takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A slow jab from Andrew misses its intended target.
Suzuki throws an off balance right hand
and Andrew counters with a big head kick but Suzuki shrugs it off.


It looks like Kamiyashi Suzuki has been cut.
Suzuki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Andrew pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Suzuki misses with a hook.
Andrew throws a sloppy head kick and Suzuki moves out of range easily.

The crowd cheers as Suzuki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Andrew doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Suzuki looks to score with a jab to the body but Andrew is just out of range.

and Suzuki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Suzuki counters with a nice body shot.
Lucas Andrew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suzuki fails to land the takedown.

Suzuki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Andrew manages to avoid it.

Andrew takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Suzuki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andrew sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suzuki staying out of range there.
Suzuki swings for the body but Andrew moves out of range.
Suzuki getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Andrew is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Suzuki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Andrew counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Suzuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Suzuki ducks under a wild hook from Andrew.

and Suzuki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Suzuki is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Andrew had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Andrew needs to keep his hands up - Suzuki had a free shot at his head there.
Suzuki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andrew just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Suzuki finds it's way through Andrew's defenses.
Suzuki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


Andrew is rocked!
Andrew ducks under a wild hook from Suzuki.
Oh Andrew is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suzuki throws a poor cross that misses
and Andrew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Suzuki misses with a few strikes there.
Andrew seems to have got his legs back now.
Andrew throws the left hand but Suzuki avoids the punch easily.
Suzuki clobbers Andrew with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Andrew swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Suzuki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Andrew thinking.

and Andrew takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Andrew tries to clinch up.
Andrew throws a series of punches but Suzuki moves out of range.
Andrew dodges the punch combination from Suzuki.
Suzuki throws an overhand right that drops Andrew like a sack of potatoes! Suzuki dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
