Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miyamoto Usagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Cooper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Usagi! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Usagi looks to score with a jab to the body but Cooper is just out of range. Usagi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cooper counters with a straight right hand. Cooper swings away with a body shot that misses
so Usagi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Usagi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cooper is looking to stand up but Usagi isn't so interested in that idea. Cooper trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Cooper keeping full guard, as Usagi tries to pass. Cooper wants to stand and escape but Usagi is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Usagi wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving. Cooper keeping full guard, as Usagi tries to pass. Usagi won't allow Cooper to get back to his feet. Usagi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cooper misses with a wild body shot. Usagi has his takedown stuffed and Cooper counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Usagi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cooper swivels and escapes. Jack Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miyamoto Usagi. Cooper throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cooper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Usagi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cooper counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cooper scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Usagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Cooper tries to sprawl out of it but Usagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cooper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper misses with an uppercut
and Usagi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cooper! Cooper is trying to stand up. Usagi fails to take his opponent's back. Cooper defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Usagi. Usagi looking to finish with strikes here!
Usagi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cooper is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper wants to stand but Usagi has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Usagi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cooper's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Usagi trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom. Cooper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Usagi controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Cooper will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Usagi takes the fight into the clinch. Usagi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miyamoto Usagi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Usagi takes a swing at Cooper's ribcage but misses. Usagi fails with the takedown enabling Cooper to counter with a crisp jab. Usagi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cooper counters with a right hand to the body. Cooper misses with a right hand and Usagi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Usagi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Usagi as Cooper tries to tie him up. Usagi avoiding damage as Cooper throws knees to the body.
Usagi jumps guard but Cooper stands there with Usagi around his waist. Usagi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jack Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miyamoto Usagi. Cooper stops a takedown attempt from Usagi.
Usagi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Usagi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Usagi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cooper pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cooper takes a swing at Usagi's ribcage but misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Usagi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cooper counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Jack Cooper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cooper moves away from the strike by Usagi. Cooper uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Usagi.
Cooper connects with a good right hand that stumbles Usagi. Usagi circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Cooper misses with a body shot.
Usagi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cooper.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Usagi wants to clinch. Usagi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cooper shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Usagi eats them both and turns towards Cooper to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Cooper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Usagi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cooper manages to avoid it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Usagi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is trying to buck Usagi off. Cooper parries the strikes from Usagi easily there. Usagi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cooper to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Usagi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cooper has escaped the position, nice work there. Usagi misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cooper wants to get back to his feet. Usagi tries to advance to mount but Cooper denies him. Usagi wants to control but Cooper is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Cooper dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Cooper counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A jab from Cooper finds it's way through Usagi's defenses. Cooper fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Usagi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Usagi shoots in but no luck this time. Usagi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cooper counters with a lovely shot to the body. Cooper jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cooper looks to land a left hand but Usagi moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper jabs Usagi to the body, keeping him at a distance. Usagi gets a takedown into half guard. Usagi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cooper is trying to stand up here but Usagi is controlling him well. Usagi is looking for a kimura here.
Cooper is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Usagi wants to advance to full mount but Cooper doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Usagi throwing strikes from guard but Cooper blocks nicely. Cooper working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Usagi. Usagi trying to move into half guard but instead Cooper has managed to sweep! Usagi wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Usagi has a closed guard, preventing Cooper from standing up. Usagi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cooper defends well. Usagi is working an open guard so Cooper takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper jabbing away but nothing is landing. Usagi misses with a shot to the body and Cooper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Usagi thows a left - swing and a miss! Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Usagi moves away. Cooper lands a lovely overhand right. Jack Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Usagi with a lazy takedown attempt and Cooper counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Usagi has his takedown stuffed and Cooper counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jack Cooper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jack Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miyamoto Usagi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper throws a series of strikes that have Usagi backpedaling.

Cooper throws a nice looking combination but Usagi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cooper avoids the body shot from Usagi.
Usagi wants to clinch but Cooper slips to the side and Cooper counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Cooper showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cooper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
