Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Torsti Monivamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Monivamma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dropkick Murphys: I'm shipping up to Boston. John McClane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monivamma takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McClane throws a looping overhand right but Monivamma ducks down to avoid it.
McClane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Monivamma looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McClane misses with the ground and pound.
Monivamma dodges the ground and pound from McClane.
McClane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monivamma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Monivamma gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
McClane throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Monivamma manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Monivamma working for a triangle but McClane defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
McClane is posturing up here but Monivamma has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McClane tries to roll out but it's too tight and McClane has to tap! Slick submission there by Monivamma!
