Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yang Tao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheikh Hasina Wazed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tao comes to the cage accompanied by Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting. Wazed has chosen Mercedes Sosa - Como la Cigarra as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yang Tao! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheikh Hasina Wazed! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Wazed 's head but he takes it in his stride. Wazed shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tao defends it nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Wazed misses the target. Wazed throws a series of punches but Tao moves out of range. Tao lands with a cross. Wazed misses with a right hand and Tao counters with a thumping low kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Tao looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wazed looks to land a combination but Tao avoids it well. Wazed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wazed somewhat. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wazed has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tao is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Yang Tao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sheikh Hasina Wazed. Tao scores with an uppercut up the middle. A right handed body shot lands from Tao.
Tao with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Tao unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tao landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Tao misses with an elbow strike.
Tao unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tao lands an elbow that stopped Wazed in his tracks for a moment. Wazed blocks the elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wazed tries to circle away but Tao has him pinned against the cage. Wazed goes for a takedown attempt but Tao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tao misses the shot to the body. Wazed with a poor takedown and Tao counters with a nice body kick.
Wazed checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tao lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tao does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. That kick from Tao tenderised Wazed's leg. Wazed is trying to keep his angry face on. Wazed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wazed. Tao looks to throw the jab but Wazed is out of range. Tao misses with a body kick. Tao throws a right hand that misses
and Tao takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tao pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wazed is out of range and Tao settles back down. Yang Tao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wazed avoids a kick to the body.
Tao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wazed's head backwards. Wazed misses with a hook to the body
and Tao counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tao scoring well with a low kick there.
Wazed misses with a takedown attempt - Tao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wazed looks to land a left hand but Tao moved out of range nicely. Wazed is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tao sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tao ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tao misses with a body kick. Wazed checks the leg kick nicely there.
Horrible takedown by Wazed or perhaps it was just good defense by Tao which made him look bad. The fighters circle momentarily. Wazed darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wazed shoots for a takedown but Tao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wazed checks the leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yang Tao dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tao has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wazed blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tao lands a nice elbow. A nice left hand lands by Tao.
Wazed is trying to break the clinch but Tao has him pressed against the cage. Wazed blocks an elbow strike. A right hook to the body lands for Tao.
Tao lands an elbow just above Wazed 's eye. A quick uppercut on the inside from Tao.
Wazed is rocked! Tao has Wazed pressed against the cage. He pushes Wazed back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Tao throws a beautiful elbow that sends Wazed crashing to the floor! Tao piles on the pressure with more strikes! Wazed is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yang Tao! Yang Tao retains his lightweight title!
