Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane looks for a takedown but Spumoni sprawls well.
Crane shoots for a double leg takedown but Spumoni sprawls well. He's pushed Crane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denny Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Crane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spumoni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Spumoni lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crane!
Spumoni lands a heavy elbow.
Spumoni cracks Crane with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Spumoni landing strikes from the mount and Crane is in trouble!
Crane is trying desperately to improve position.

Spumoni working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Spumoni is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Crane is surviving well by controlling Spumoni's body position as best he can.
Crane has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Spumoni working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Crane is doing well to defend. Spumoni seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Crane is forced to tap and this one is over!
