12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Fox! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mccoy jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice shot lands for Mccoy. Mccoy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Mccoy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Fox shoots and misses and Mccoy counters with a two punch combo. Mccoy throws a good cross that connects.
Steve Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mccoy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fox on the side of the head. Fox with a lazy takedown attempt and Mccoy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mccoy thows a body shot but no joy. Fox fails with the takedown and Mccoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Troy Mccoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Fox.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Mccoy misses. Fox with a lazy takedown attempt and Mccoy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mccoy cracks Fox with a right hand to the side of the head. Mccoy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Steve Fox has been cut. Fox misses with a takedown attempt and Mccoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fox looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Mccoy misses. Mccoy stalks Fox and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fox's face. Fox staggers backwards, shaken. Fox takes one to the chin there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mccoy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fox scrambles back to his feet. Fox misses with a takedown and Mccoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A punch lands to the side of Fox 's head but he takes it in his stride. Fox misses with an uppercut
enabling Mccoy to counter with a crisp jab. Fox misses with a body punch
and Mccoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mccoy thuds a left hand into Fox's body. Fox takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccoy throws a big shot that misses. Fox has his takedown stuffed and Fox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mccoy lands a nice shot to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Mccoy there. Mccoy lands a nice hook to Fox's body. Fox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mccoy's corner calls for a 1-2. Mccoy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Mccoy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fox has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mccoy misses with a double jab.
Fox is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mccoy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Fox. Fox takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fox tries for a takedown but Mccoy circles away easily and Mccoy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fox thinking. Mccoy cracks Fox with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mccoy scores with the left hand. Fox knows he should have avoided that one. Fox walks into a stiff left hand from Mccoy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mccoy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccoy punishes Fox's body with a nice straight punch. Mccoy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Fox is breathing heavily. Mccoy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Troy Mccoy is winning the standup battle so far. Fox misses with a takedown letting Mccoy counter with a right hand. Mccoy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Mccoy scores with a nice head shot. Mccoy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fox.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Fox misses the body punch enabling Mccoy to counter with a crisp jab. Mccoy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fox has time to react. Mccoy lands a body shot.
Mccoy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mccoy digs a good hook to Fox's body.
Mccoy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fox can do to turn this around? Mccoy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Fox takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Mccoy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Fox gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fox is rocked! Mccoy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mccoy throws out a powerful jab. Fox shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mccoy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fox gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mccoy. Donk. Mccoy catches Fox right on the button with a cross. Fox moves away from the strike by Mccoy. Mccoy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Mccoy just misses with a punch to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fox. Mccoy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fox has just dragged him back down to the mat. Mccoy tries to bench press Fox off him but Fox keeps the position. Fox is trying to get an arm triangle but Mccoy is defending well. Mccoy is not content to let Fox control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox working away. Fox tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mccoy is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fox has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mccoy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fox off and has taken his back! Fox tries to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Mccoy manages to miss with strikes from the back. Fox is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Mccoy off. It looks like it's working - Mccoy slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Fox displaying calm under pressure there. Fox throws a lazy uppercut
and Mccoy counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fox moves forwards but Mccoy connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mccoy just misses with a punch to the body.
Mccoy throws a combination. Fox tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Fox throws a combination that misses and Mccoy counters with a three punch combo that has Fox backing up. Fox nods at Mccoy to acknowledge the strikes.

Fox has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mccoy finds it's way round the side to connect with Fox's head. And that's the end of the fight! Troy Mccoy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mccoy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
