Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Schlock Leznar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leznar comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ by Ghostface Killah. Potter has chosen Biggie Smalls - Victory as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Schlock Leznar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Potter! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Potter wants it to stay on the feet. Potter blocks the body kick.
Leznar gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Potter counter with a right hand. Potter takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Potter fails to land with a series of punches.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leznar.
Schlock Leznar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leznar slips under a jab. A shot to the body from Leznar misses and Potter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Leznar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Potter if he has to take too many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Potter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Potter connects with a body shot that sends Leznar's belly button to the back. Potter tries to sprawl but Leznar drives through with a takedown into half guard. Potter looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leznar is looking to advance position but Potter won't allow it. Potter wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Leznar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Potter tries to kick Leznar off but Leznar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Leznar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Potter's head. Leznar is trying to work for a kimura but Potter is defending well.
Leznar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Potter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Leznar is taking a breather. Potter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Potter is trying to stand back up but Leznar is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Leznar wants to control from the top but Potter keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Potter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Leznar trying to control the position from guard on top but Potter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leznar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Potter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Potter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Leznar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Potter wants to sweep here but Leznar controlling him for the moment. Leznar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leznar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Potter can't keep his opponent in guard - Leznar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Leznar trying to control from half guard but Potter is working away. Potter trying to hold on to Leznar's head to control him but Leznar postures up.
Potter is trying to stand up here but Leznar is controlling him well. Leznar slows the pace down in half guard. Leznar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schlock Leznar dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A bone on bone clash there as Potter blocks the leg kick.
Leznar catches Potter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Leznar misses with a low kick as Potter jumps back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Potter misses with a combination
and Leznar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter misses with an uppercut. Potter throws a right hand that misses
and Leznar counters with a solid body kick. Potter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Leznar pushes Potter away with a front kick. No joy there for Potter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Potter moves away from the strike by Leznar. Potter moves out of range as Leznar throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leznar misses with a lunging right hand
and Potter counters with a stiff right hand. Leznar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Potter's sensitive parts. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Leznar - that will leave a mark!
Leznar is looking to slow Potter down with leg kicks. Potter is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Leznar lands with an uppercut that bounces Potter off the cage and back into rage. Gray Potter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Potter dips to his left and cracks Leznar with an uppercut! Potter throws an off balance right hand
and Leznar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leznar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Leznar throws a front kick that sends Potter stumbling back into the cage. Leznar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Potter avoids a kick to the body.
Leznar connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Gray Potter has been cut. A punch lands to the side of Potter 's head but he takes it in his stride. Potter stuffs the takedown attempt from Leznar. Leznar gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Potter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Potter there as he acknowledges the shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Potter stuffs the takedown. Leznar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Leznar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Leznar throws a shot from downtown. Potter moves away and avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schlock Leznar dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Gray Potter's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Leznar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Potter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Leznar counters with a stiff right hand. Leznar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Potter's sensitive parts. Potter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leznar moves away. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leznar.
Potter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Leznar counters with a low kick, right behind Potter 's knee. Potter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Potter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Leznar counters with an inside leg kick. Leznar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Potter doesn't seem bothered though. Leznar thuds his shin into the meat of Potter's side. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leznar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Potter as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leznar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Potter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Leznar is in Potter's guard. Leznar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Potter can do to turn this around? Leznar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Potter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Leznar pushes down on Potter's leg and manages to get into half guard. Potter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Leznar counters with a stiff right hand. Leznar moves into range and connects with a jab. Potter's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A momentary lapse in concentration from Potter enables Leznar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Potter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Leznar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Leznar postures up in Potter's guard and throws a big left but Potter blocks it. Leznar trying to control the position from guard on top but Potter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Potter looking for a sweep. Not yet Potter, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leznar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Leznar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Potter wants to stand up but Leznar is controlling him. Leznar works over Potter with some ground and pound from guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Leznar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Potter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Leznar prevents Potter from getting back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leznar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schlock Leznar clearly takes that round. The cut man is working on Gray Potter's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Leznar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Leznar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Leznar lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Potter is looking to reverse the position. Leznar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Potter has escaped the position, nice work there. Leznar looks up at the clock and then as Potter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Leznar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Potter is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. A lull in the action here as Leznar stalls from top position. Potter is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Leznar tries to move into full mount but can't pass Potter's legs. Potter is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Leznar lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leznar is trying to get an arm triangle but Potter is defending well. Leznar trying to control the position but Potter is working away. Leznar is really struggling to control Potter but he's trying to hold on to the position. Potter is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Leznar has just dragged him back down to the mat. Leznar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Potter down.
Leznar cracks Potter with a big elbow.
That has opened up Gray Potter's cut even more.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leznar has hold of Potter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Potter seems comfortable defending it but Leznar has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Potter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Potter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leznar couldn't care less - he's delighted!
