Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Shackelford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kegan Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shackelford comes to the cage accompanied by Airplanes. Williamson has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackelford closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Williamson to counter with a crisp jab.
Williamson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shackelford's head.
Shackelford looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williamson is fending him off so far but Shackelford persists. Nope, Williamson circles away and we're back to standing.
Shackelford shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williamson pinned against the cage. Williamson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shackelford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williamson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Shackelford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williamson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shackelford counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Shackelford jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williamson walks away with a smile on his face. Shackelford gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Williamson counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shackelford misses with a takedown attempt - Williamson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Williamson looks to land a right hand but Shackelford moved out of range.
Williamson throws a right hand that Shackelford ducks under and follows up with a left that Shackelford also avoids with ease.
Williamson connects with a jab.
Shackelford has his takedown stuffed
letting Williamson counter with a right hand.

Shackelford closes the distance but Williamson moves to the side
and Williamson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Williamson counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Shackelford!
Shackelford is rocked!
Shackelford is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williamson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shackelford. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Some wild striking there from Williamson.
Shackelford shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Williamson counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Shackelford! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
