Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sammy Bach will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Fedorov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Bach! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bach clobbers Fedorov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fedorov fails to land the takedown. Bach cracks Fedorov with an open hand slap. Bach lands an overhand right. Bach lands a really nice looking cross but Fedorov seems unphased.
Fedorov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bach throws a jab but it's blocked by Fedorov. Bach uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fedorov has time to react. Fedorov slips under a jab from Bach. Bach pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bach throws a hook but Fedorov blocks it. A jab from Bach finds it's way through Fedorov's defenses. Fedorov shoots in for a double leg but Bach sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov drops his hands momentarily and Bach takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bach waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fedorov. Bach misses with a straight right. A big right from Bach misses. Bach connects with a jab. Fedorov ducks under a wild hook from Bach. Nice takedown defense from Bach. No joy for Fedorov on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Fedorov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bach scores with a jab. Bach tests Fedorov's chin there with a solid looking shot. Decent striking displayed by Bach there. Bach throws a good cross that connects.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bach cracks Fedorov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bach misses with an uppercut. Fedorov saw that one coming. Bach lands a nice shot that snaps Fedorov's head back.
Bach lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bach lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Fedorov shoots for a takedown but Bach saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bach misses with an uppercut. Bach misses with a looping right. Bach scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fedorov in his tracks. Bach is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fedorov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Bach throws out a loose jab but Fedorov uses good head movement to avoid it. Fedorov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sammy Bach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bach paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bach throws a hook but Fedorov blocks it. Fedorov walks into a jab. Bach cracks Fedorov with a right hand to the side of the head. Fedorov slips a straight right by Bach. Fedorov slips under a jab from Bach. Bach scores with a hook. Fedorov looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Bach throws a hook to the side of Fedorov's head but Fedorov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bach tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fedorov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bach somewhat. Fedorov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bach getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fedorov swats away the attempt to clinch by Bach. A big left from Bach misses. Fedorov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bach throws out the jab. Bach throws out a loose jab but Fedorov uses good head movement to avoid it. Fedorov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bach connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fedorov scrambles back to his feet. Bach misses with an uppercut. Fedorov moves away from the strike by Bach. Bach throws a lazy right hand but Fedorov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bach jabs Fedorov right on the nose. Fedorov blinks but takes it well. Fedorov fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sammy Bach dominated that round. That's time! Fedorov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bach lands the left hand. Bach might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Bach looks to land a left hand but Fedorov moved out of range nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fedorov is defended easily by Bach. Bach misses with a hook. Fedorov ducked under it nicely. Bach lands a lovely overhand right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fedorov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Alexander Fedorov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bach lands a glancing blow to the side of Fedorov's head. Bach lands with a cross. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fedorov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Bach connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fedorov. Fedorov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fedorov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bach shoots and misses and Fedorov counters with a single leg into guard. Bach didn't expect that. Fedorov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fedorov forces his way into half guard. Fedorov trying to control the action but Bach is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedorov is trying to work for a kimura but Bach is defending well.
Fedorov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bach trying to control but Fedorov postures up.
Bach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fedorov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fedorov is looking for a kimura but Bach is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fedorov to get the leverage. Fedorov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fedorov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bach knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fedorov uses his free foot to push down on Bach's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fedorov working for a guillotine from mount but Bach is in no mood to give up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. You get the feeling that Bach really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bach somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Fedorov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bach sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fedorov somewhat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bach looks to land a right hand but Fedorov moved out of range. Fedorov on the wrong end of a nice jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alexander Fedorov will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd cheers as Bach lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fedorov doesn't seem phased though. Bach connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fedorov. Fedorov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bach with a lazy takedown attempt and Fedorov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bach! Bach wants to hold on but Fedorov pushes him away. Fedorov working for a guillotine from mount but Bach is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fedorov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Fedorov controlling from the full mount. Bach is looking to get to half guard. Fedorov trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fedorov content just to control the position here. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Fedorov. I think Fedorov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
