Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Bruising (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fast Learner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fast Learner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fast Learner!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruising ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Learner moves away.
Learner throws a nice looking combination but Bruising bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bruising shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Learner as he jumps to the side.
Bruising looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bruising takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bruising lands a nice shot that snaps Learner's head back.
Learner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Learner clinches.
Bruising goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bruising has a couple of punches blocked by Learner.
Bruising working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bruising working aggressively here.
Bruising tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Learner blocks an uppercut.
Bruising fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Come on Bruising - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Learner is trying to break free.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bruising misses with a punch to the body.
Learner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bruising taking a breather.
A head punch on the inside from Bruising fails to land.
Bruising throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bruising doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bruising has Learner pressed against the cage.
Bruising misses with the head strike.
Bruising misses with a punch on the inside.
Bruising misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bruising keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Learner's efforts to push away.

Learner is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bruising is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Learner to the mat. Learner regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bruising stands and throws Learner's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Learner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bruising. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bruising moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Bruising wants to control but Learner is keeping him busy.

Bruising looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Bruising has an Americana. Learner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bruising is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bruising hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
