Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micka Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorma Kuyrpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuyrpa has chosen Armi Ja Danny - I Want To Love You Tender as his entrance music. Jorma Kuyrpa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Micka Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorma Kuyrpa!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wallace darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kuyrpa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wallace pushes Kuyrpa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kuyrpa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kuyrpa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wallace is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kuyrpa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wallace is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace being controlled for a moment.
Kuyrpa trying to control the action but Wallace is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuyrpa is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Wallace is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kuyrpa asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Wallace is trying to buck Kuyrpa off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kuyrpa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wallace looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kuyrpa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wallace is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kuyrpa lets go of the hold and Wallace can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jorma Kuyrpa!
