And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rezende. Rezende obviously looking to wear him down.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rezende counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gracie is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Rezende tries a head kick but it misses.

Rezende tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A head kick from Rezende lands but Gracie takes it in his stride.
It looks like Rickson Gracie has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Rezende counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Rezende.

and Rezende moves into the clinch.

Rezende breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rezende scores with a head kick. Gracie tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Rezende makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Rezende holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Rezende breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Rezende counters with a head kick that drops Gracie to the mat! Gracie scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Rezende counters with a monster head kick that knocks Gracie out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
