The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takedown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dawson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dawson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dawson wants to control but Takedown is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dawson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Takedown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dawson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dawson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Takedown is posturing up here but Dawson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Takedown tries to roll out but it's too tight and Takedown has to tap! Slick submission there by Dawson!
