Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Severn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ja volim vatat muve. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Severn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Kayne! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kayne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Severn misses with a straight left. Severn throws an off balance right hand
and Kayne counters with a low kick, right behind Severn 's knee. Kayne cracks Severn with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kayne avoids the body shot from Severn.
Severn throws a poor cross that misses
and Kayne makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Severn misses with a hook. Kayne ducked under it nicely. Kayne throws a solid leg kick but Severn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kayne. Severn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kayne moves away. Severn misses the body punch and Kayne counters with a straight right hand. A leg kick checked by Kayne. Kayne feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Severns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kayne scores with a one two! Severn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Kayne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Severn tries to clinch but Kayne is having none of it. Severn misses the body punch and Kayne cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Severn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kayne jabs Severn to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kayne darts in and out, connecting with a jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Severn. Kayne scores with a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kayne throws a leg kick but Severn sees it coming and moves out of range. Severn shoots for a double leg takedown but Kayne sprawls well. He's pushed Severn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kayne throws a lazy head kick and Severn counters with a stiff right hand. Kayne misses with a jab to the body
and Severn counters with a straight right hand. Severn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Kayne to counter with a crisp jab. Severn throws a poor cross that misses
and Kayne counters with a low kick, right behind Severn 's knee. Ken Severn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Severn is breathing heavily. Severn throws a leg kick and Kayne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kayne dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Severn. That did some damage! Kayne throws a body punch but Severn moves out of range. Severn misses with a hook
and Severn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kayne scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Kayne finds it's target. Severn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kayne was well out of range. Poor timing from Severn. Severn throws a leg kick and Kayne makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kayne sizes up Severn with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Severn walks into a jab. A shot to the liver by Kayne. Beautiful body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kayne connects with a right hand. Severn shakes it off. Good exchange - Kayne coming out on top. Kayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Kayne lands a big head kick that sends Severn tumbling to the mat! Kayne takes a step backwards and waves Severn back to his feet - he wants the finish! A slapping body kick lands there for Kayne.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kayne tries a head kick but it misses.
Kayne throws a quick inside leg kick. Kayne connects with a body shot. Kayne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kayne comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kayne scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kayne cracks a nice hook into Severn's ribs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Severn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kayne. Severn avoids the head kick by Kayne.
Kayne misses with a hook. Severn ducked under it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kayne dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kayne stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Kayne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Severn.
Severn swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kayne counters with a stiff right hand. Kayne feints a jab promting Severn to slip. Kayne then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Severn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kayne throws a head kick that misses. Kayne misses with an uppercut
and Severn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Severn fails with the takedown. Kayne uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kayne throws a lazy right hand but Severn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mark Kayne seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Kayne counters with a lovely straight right hand! Horrible takedown by Severn or perhaps it was just good defense by Kayne which made him look bad. Severn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kayne counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kayne misses the shot to the body. Kayne misses with a looping left. Kayne lands a slapping body shot.

and Severn counters with a one-two to the body. Kayne scores with a nice strike. Severn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Severn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kayne.

Severn takes one to the chin there. Severn gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice shot lands for Kayne. Whack! Kayne lands a heavy head kick that drops Severn. The ref tackles Kayne to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Severn was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mark Kayne!
