The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Kuri swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jackson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice body kick from Jackson .
Te Kuri tries to land a body kick
and Jackson counters with a body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jackson lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Loui Te Kuri has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Te Kuri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.

Te Kuri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson .

Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Te Kuri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A head kick from Jackson lands but Te Kuri takes it in his stride.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Te Kuri.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Jackson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Te Kuri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jackson .

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Te Kuri might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jackson has got the better of the exchanges.

Te Kuri is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jackson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Te Kuri.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
