Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Inclan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Jelencik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael Inclan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Inclan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chester Jelencik!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jelencik clinches up against the cage.
Inclan tries to break the clinch but Jelencik is controlling the position.

Jelencik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Jelencik counters by clinching up.

Jelencik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Inclan misses with a takedown
and Jelencik counters with a series of strikes. Inclan will be more careful next time no doubt.

Jelencik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Inclan shoots and misses

and Jelencik decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Inclan's guard.

Inclan is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Inclan throws a big right hand that misses.

Jelencik pushes Inclan off and gets back to his feet.

and Inclan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jelencik shoots in looking for a takedown. Inclan tries to sprawl out of it but Jelencik keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Inclan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Jelencik counters by clinching up.
Jelencik tries to land a knee to the head but Inclan blocks with his arms.
Inclan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jelencik is keeping busy.
Jelencik wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jelencik prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jelencik fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jelencik misses with a knee strike.
Inclan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Inclan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Inclan doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jelencik counters by moving into the clinch.
Inclan tries to pull guard but Jelencik holds him up against the cage and eventually Inclan drops back down to his feet.
Jelencik is looking to break free of the clinch but Inclan has double underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jelencik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Inclan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Jelencik counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Inclan!

Jelencik is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Inclan is surviving well by controlling Jelencik's body position as best he can.

Jelencik goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Inclan turns into him and now he's in Jelencik's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jelencik has gone for a leg lock! Inclan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jelencik's guard.
Jelencik is looking to stand up but Inclan isn't so interested in that idea.
Inclan tries to stand but Jelencik is controlling from the bottom.

Inclan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jelencik keeping moving, preventing Inclan from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inclan stops Jelencik from standing up.
Inclan throwing strikes but missing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Inclan counters with a single leg into guard. Jelencik didn't expect that.
Jelencik is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jelencik keeping moving, preventing Inclan from controlling successfully.
Inclan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Inclan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jelencik, up you get!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rafael Inclan will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jelencik throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Inclan blocks it with crossed arms.

Jelencik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Inclan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chester Jelencik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jelencik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
