Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Polski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Narima Koga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pursuit of Happiness. Narima Koga has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luke Polski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Narima Koga!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koga misses with a wild combination.
Koga wants to clinch but Polski slips to the side
enabling Polski to counter with a crisp jab.
Some wild striking there from Polski.
Sloppy strikes from Koga. Those never looked like landing.
Koga tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Polski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Koga!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Koga throws a right hand that Polski ducks under and follows up with a left that Polski also avoids with ease.
Koga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Koga forces Polski back against the ropes and clinches.

Koga tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Koga throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Koga with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Polski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koga throws a head kick but Polski moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Polski. Koga shrugs it off though.

and Polski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Koga won't be happy with that.

A lull in the action here as Polski stalls from top position.
Polski postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Koga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koga wants it to stay on the feet.
Polski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koga circles away quickly and effectively.

Koga uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Polski has time to react.
Koga's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Polski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Koga scrambles back to his feet.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Polski.
Narima Koga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Koga wants to clinch but Polski slips to the side
and Polski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Narima Koga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Polski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koga manages to avoid it.

Koga with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Polski to score with a decent uppercut.

and Polski makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Koga really felt that one!

Luke Polski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fighters circle momentarily. Koga darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
