Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chregory Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Zalachenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalachenko has chosen Torture Chamber as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalachenko lands an overhand right.
Chance needs to keep his hands up - Zalachenko had a free shot at his head there.
Zalachenko scores with a nice strike.
Zalachenko checks a leg kick.
Zalachenko lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Chance forces Zalachenko back against the ropes and clinches.

Zalachenko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chance doesn't seem bothered though.

and Zalachenko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Zalachenko counters with a stiff right hand.

Zalachenko is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chance had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Zalachenko pushes Chance up against the ropes in a clinch.

Zalachenko lands a leg kick that knocks Chance off balance momentarily.
Chance takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Chance sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Zalachenko scores with a kick to the body.
Zalachenko lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Zalachenko tests Chance's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chance. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Zalachenko scores with the left hand. Chance knows he should have avoided that one.

and Zalachenko counters with a good low kick that Chance was not able to check.
Chance on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Alexander Zalachenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zalachenko moves into the clinch successfully.
Chance tries to break the clinch but Zalachenko is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Chance changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zalachenko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zalachenko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chance closes the distance and clinches.

Zalachenko has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Chance goes for a takedown attempt but Zalachenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chance drives through and clinches with Zalachenko against the ropes.

Zalachenko jabs Chance to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chance just misses with a punch to the body.
Zalachenko lands a nice hook to Chance's body. Chance takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Zalachenko lands a big right hand that drops Chance! The killer instinct kicks in and Zalachenko finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Zalachenko!
