Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inuyasha Kagome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kagome has chosen How It's Going Down as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Reaper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Inuyasha Kagome! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kagome throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kagome lands a nice looking kick to the body. Reaper takes a step back to recover. Reaper misses with a looping right. Kagome fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Reaper on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kagome. Kagome obviously looking to wear him down.
Kagome pushes Reaper away with a front kick. Kagome looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kagome fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kagome throws a leg kick but Reaper moved away. Reaper checks a leg kick. Reaper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kagome's waist but Kagome gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reaper off to one side. Kagome misses with a leg kick. A combination from Reaper does no damage. Kagome tries a head kick but it misses.

and Kagome counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reaper's knee momentarily. A clash of legs there as Reaper blocks the low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kagome with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Reaper scores with a jab. Kagome acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Inuyasha Kagome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reaper stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Reaper checks a low kick from Kagome. Kagome delivers a nice body kick. Kagome misses with a body kick. Kagome scores with a head kick. Reaper tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Kagome lands with a nice body kick. Kagome goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A swing and a miss from Reaper. Kagome stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kagome wants it to stay on the feet. Kagome displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reaper throws out the jab. Kagome misses with a body kick. Kagome throws a head kick but Reaper moves out of range.

Reaper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kagome has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kagome there as he acknowledges the shot. Reaper avoids the head kick by Kagome.
Reaper misses with a double jab.
Reaper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kagome circles away quickly and effectively. Kagome throws a wild body kick that Reaper sees coming a mile off. Kagome throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Reaper. Reaper misses with a body shot.
A big right from Reaper misses. Kagome uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reaper. Reaper stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Reaper lands with a cross. Kagome bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Reaper checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Reaper checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kagome tries a head kick but it misses.
Kagome tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Reaper checks a low kick from Kagome. A head kick misses from Kagome. Reaper is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kagome. Reaper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kagome tries to avoid it but Reaper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kagome to the ground. Kagome escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Reaper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kagome tries to land a front kick but Reaper steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kagome throws a head kick that misses. Kagome catches Reaper with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kagome feints and then cracks Reaper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reaper down. Reaper blocks a jab. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Reaper. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Reaper checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kagome throws the kick towards the body but Reaper avoids it. A clash of legs there as Reaper blocks the low kick. Reaper on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Reaper. Kagome does a little dance to reset his feet. Sloppy strikes from Reaper. Those never looked like landing. Kagome throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Reaper counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reaper misses with a jab to the body
and Kagome counters with a low kick, right behind Reaper 's knee. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Inuyasha Kagome dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kagome slips under a jab. Kagome throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reaper's head. Kagome throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Reaper looks to land a right hand but Kagome moved out of range. Kagome fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Reaper checks it well. Kagome tries a head kick but it misses.
Reaper throws a hook to the side of Kagome's head but Kagome sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Reaper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kagome was well out of range. Poor timing from Reaper. Reaper checks a leg kick nicely. Reaper throws a nice looking combination but Kagome bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reaper avoids the head kick by Kagome.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crunch! Kagome slams his shin into Reaper's torso. Reaper lands with a cross. Kagome throws a leg kick but Reaper sees it coming and moves out of range. Reaper throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kagome uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reaper.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reaper throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kagome gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Reaper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kagome throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Reaper is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Reaper shoots for a takedown but Kagome saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Reaper throws a body punch but Kagome moves out of range. Reaper looks to score with a jab to the body but Kagome is just out of range. Reaper tries to clinch up but Kagome circles away and keeps his distance. Reaper takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kagome takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Reaper rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kagome throws the kick towards the body but Reaper avoids it. Kagome pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Kagome counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reaper is lucky that one didn't land flush. Reaper checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kagome takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Reaper checks the leg kick. Kagome moves out of range of the strikes. Kagome tries a head kick but it misses.
Reaper lands with a shot to the body. Kagome misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reaper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Reaper looks to land a right hand but Kagome moved out of range. Reaper fails with the takedown and Kagome counters with a solid body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Reaper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kagome throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reaper's head. Kagome moves forwards but Reaper connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kagome drops his hands momentarily and Reaper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Reaper avoids the head kick by Kagome.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reaper closes the distance and clinches. Reaper successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kagome trying to control the position from guard on top but Reaper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reaper is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Reaper keeping moving, preventing Kagome from controlling successfully. Reaper has his foot on Kagome's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kagome works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reaper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kagome has passed into side control.
Kagome wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reaper keeps working. Reaper prevents Kagome from improving position. Reaper is trying to get back to half guard. Reaper is trying to escape the position but Kagome is controlling the position. Reaper tries to improve position but can't. Reaper is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Reaper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kagome's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kagome's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Inuyasha Kagome will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Reaper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kagome was covering up waiting for the punch and Reaper finishes the takedown easily into guard. Reaper passes into half guard. Kagome tries to get to full guard but Reaper has control of the leg. Reaper is looking to advance position but Kagome won't allow it. Kagome tries to roll over but Reaper keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kagome moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reaper throws a strike but Kagome rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Reaper looking for subs off his back but Kagome has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reaper throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reaper is on top in guard.

Kagome pulls Reaper in close to prevent any damage. Reaper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reaper throws a strike but Kagome rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kagome preventing the sweep. Reaper has his foot on Kagome's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kagome works his way back into a safe position though. Reaper looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kagome has picked Reaper up and slammed him! Reaper can't keep hold of the triangle and Kagome manages to pass to side control! Reaper is looking to reverse the position. Kagome trying to control the action but Reaper is working from the bottom. Reaper is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kagome slows the pace down. Reaper is not content to let Kagome control the position. Reaper tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kagome wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. John Reaper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reaper is working hard here to advance position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Reaper manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Reaper thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Reaper throwing shots but Kagome is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Reaper. I think Kagome has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
