Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Hiranuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter DiMaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiranuma is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Hiroshi Hiranuma could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter DiMaio's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiranuma tries to clinch
and DiMaio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hiroshi Hiranuma's cut is getting worse.
Hiranuma is breathing heavily.
DiMaio avoids the head kick by Hiranuma.
DiMaio scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
DiMaio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hiranuma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hiranuma takes a jab right on the kisser.
DiMaio lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hiranuma backs up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
DiMaio stalks Hiranuma and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hiranuma's face. Hiranuma staggers backwards, shaken.

Hiroshi Hiranuma's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Oooooh!!! DiMaio has knocked Hiranuma down with a huge combo! DiMaio steps away and waves a wobbly Hiranuma back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hiranuma is rocked!

DiMaio drops Hiranuma with a beautiful combination! Hiranuma stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DiMaio is looking for the KO!
Oh Hiranuma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Hiroshi Hiranuma's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hiroshi Hiranuma's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
