Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dill Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dill Davis!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ramos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ramos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davis's guard.
Ramos wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.
Davis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Davis throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Davis seems keen to control Ramos's posture.
Ramos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Davis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ramos!
Ramos on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ramos tries to get out of the position.

Davis is looking to work some ground and pound but Ramos has wrist control.

Ramos tries to control but Davis wriggling away.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Ramos will probably get the nod.

Davis clinches up against the cage.
Davis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ramos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mark Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dill Davis.

Ramos is in all sorts of trouble here.
The referee warns Ramos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ramos is squirming around, avoiding Davis's attempts to control the action.

Davis is working for a guillotine from mount but Ramos frees his head quite easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Davis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ramos wants to hold on but Davis pushes him away.
Ramos is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Davis connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Davis trying to control but Ramos is having none of it.
Ramos is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dill Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Davis moves into the clinch.

Ramos has clasped his hands together around Davis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Ramos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.
Davis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ramos's best efforts.
Davis landing rabbit punches to the side of Ramos's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Davis is trying to stand up here but Ramos is controlling him well.

Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ramos lands strikes from half guard.

Davis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mark Ramos showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Ramos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
