Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between King Sloth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Metzki Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sloth's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, all the lights. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Sloth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Metzki Kidd! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kidd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sloth sprawls well. Sloth wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kidd gets slowly back to his feet. Kidd fails with the takedown and Sloth counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kidd looks gassed! A nice combination there by Sloth.
Kidd misses with a double jab
and Sloth counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sloth slows the pace down in half guard. Sloth trying to control the action but Kidd is working from the bottom. Kidd blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sloth. Sloth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sloth works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sloth looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloth breaks from Kidd's wrist control and lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloth raining down shots from the mount! Sloth trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sloth is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kidd can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sloth can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kidd is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sloth lands with some strikes. Kidd is squirming around, avoiding Sloth's attempts to control the action. Sloth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sloth is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kidd to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kidd shrugs it off. Sloth tries to control but Kidd wriggling away. Kidd tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloth trying to control but Kidd is having none of it. Sloth prevents Kidd from getting the reversal. Sloth content just to control the position here. Sloth lands a big elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sloth lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kidd hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sloth controlling his opponent. Sloth gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Sloth rushes Kidd and presses him up against the cage. Kidd effectively controlling the action here. Sloth manages to break the clinch.
Kidd throws a leg kick which misses Sloth's front leg but catches the back leg as Sloth tries to avoid it. Sloth misses with a takedown and Kidd counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kidd perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Sloth dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kidd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kidd has his takedown stuffed and Sloth counters with a shoot takedown. Kidd fights it but they end up in guard. Sloth controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sloth trying to control the position from guard on top but Kidd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kidd is trying to control the position but Sloth postures up.
We're going to have a standup here because King Sloth wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sloth throws a right hand that Kidd ducks under and follows up with a left that Kidd also avoids with ease. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sloth doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kidd counters with a three punch combo that has Sloth backing up. Sloth nods at Kidd to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sloth!
Sloth scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kidd is trying to control Sloth's posture but Sloth avoids it. Kidd prevents Sloth from improving position. Kidd throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloth stands up and we're back to a striking position. Kidd with a poor takedown and Sloth holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kidd obliges. Kidd misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sloth wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kidd has him pressed against the cage. Sloth taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Sloth tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kidd smiles and moves away.
Kidd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sloth. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Sloth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kidd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidd wants to take a breather but Sloth is having none of it. Sloth wants to control but Kidd is keeping busy.
Kidd not doing much here.
Kidd prevents Sloth from improving his position. Kidd trying to control from half guard but Sloth is working away.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Metzki Kidd wasn't active enough on the ground. Kidd shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sloth tries to clinch up but Kidd circles away and keeps his distance. Kidd throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sloth tries for a takedown but Kidd sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kidd throws a push kick but Sloth slaps the foot to one side. Kidd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sloth on the side of the head. Sloth shoots and misses and Kidd counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sloth trying to control but Kidd postures up.
Sloth is refusing to be controlled, as Kidd sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that King Sloth will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Sloth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sloth will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sloth thows a body kick. Kidd tries to catch it but that hurt him. Kidd gets tackled into the cage by Sloth. Sloth maintains the clinch. Sloth pulls guard. Kidd is fighting to break Sloth's control of his arms but Sloth is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. King Sloth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kidd trying to control the position from guard on top but Sloth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sloth is on top in guard.
Sloth is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sloth stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kidd throws a lazy head kick and Sloth counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kidd's guard now. Kidd wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloth prevents Kidd from getting back to his feet. Sloth trying to control but Kidd is working from the bottom. Sloth slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of King Sloth. Sloth shoots and misses and Kidd counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sloth manages to escape and get back to his feet! Sloth tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kidd counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sloth is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sloth wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidd scoring with punches to the head and body. Sloth wants to sweep here but Kidd controlling him for the moment. Kidd pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sloth is keeping the position for now. Kidd preventing the sweep. Kidd thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sloth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kidd content to stall in guard here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kidd shoots and misses and Sloth counters with a shoot takedown. Kidd fights it but they end up in guard. Sloth passes into half guard. Kidd is looking for a sweep. Sloth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kidd is refusing to be controlled, as Sloth sits in half guard. Metzki Kidd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! King Sloth is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sloth content to control rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! King Sloth showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sloth has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
