Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira pushes Bonobo up against the cage in a clinch.
Vieira jumps into guard, dragging Bonobo to the mat.
Vieira not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bonobo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bonobo trying to control but Vieira is working from the bottom.
Vieira is looking for a triangle but Bonobo pushes his legs off easily.
Bonobo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bonobo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vieira swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vieira is trying to control the position but Bonobo postures up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bonobo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vieira paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Bonobo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Vieira is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bonobo manages to pull guard.
Vieira trying to control the position from guard on top but Bonobo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vieira throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bonobo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vieira prevents Bonobo from getting back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bonobo wants to stand and escape but Vieira is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vieira tries to clinch but Bonobo moves away
and Bonobo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Vieira kicks Bonobo off and gets back to his feet.
Vieira fails with a takedown attempt.
Bonobo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Bonobo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vieira won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vieira is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Vieira wants to get back to his feet but Bonobo drags him back down.
Bonobo tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Vieira is not content to let Bonobo control the position.
Vieira is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bonobo tries to move to mount but Vieira blocks the move with his legs.
Bonobo tries to advance to mount but Vieira instead regains half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vieira tries to get to full guard but Bonobo has control of the leg.

Bonobo is working for a submission of some sort.

Vieira keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Bonobo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vieira has one foot on Bonobo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Vieira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bonobo circles away.
Joey Bonobo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonso Vieira.
Vieira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vieira is trying to push Bonobo away but Bonobo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vieira wants to stall.

Vieira is trying to break the clinch but Bonobo is controlling him.
Bonobo has Vieira pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vieira manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bonobo managing to block the knees to the body from Vieira.
Vieira is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bonobo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Vieira to the mat. Vieira regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Vieira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bonobo is posturing up here but Vieira has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bonobo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bonobo has to tap! Slick submission there by Vieira!
