Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buster Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanson White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes to the cage accompanied by King Kong - Jibbs. White comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Up To My Neck In You kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hanson White told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buster Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hanson White! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Banks.
It looks like Hanson White has been cut. White looks for the body kick but Banks saw that one coming. White moves in looking to clinch but Banks pushes him off. Buster Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Banks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on White if he has to take too many more of those.
Banks tries to land a front kick but White steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. White ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Banks. White shrugs it off though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White throws a lazy uppercut
and Banks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Banks lands a head kick that stumbles White and the fighters go to the mat.
White is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. White is still in real trouble! Can Banks finish him? White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. White seems to have recovered his senses.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hanson White. Banks swats away the attempt to clinch by White. Banks takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses. White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banks.
Banks throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease. White jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Banks thuds his right hand into White's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. White tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Banks throws a lazy uppercut
and White counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Banks stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Banks seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. White misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Banks's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Buster Banks. Banks swings and misses with a shot to the body and White counters with a head kick. That will keep Banks thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Banks misses with a double jab
and White counters with an outside leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks throws out a token jab with nothing on it. White slips a jab from Banks. Banks thows a body kick. White tries to catch it but that hurt him. Banks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
White tried to score with a low kick but Banks checks it. Banks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. White checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Banks gets off balance looking for a body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. White fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Banks. White misses with an uppercut. White throws a shot from downtown. Banks moves away and avoids it. White tries to clinch but Banks is having none of it. Banks swings widly with a right hand
and White counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Banks.
White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Banks. Banks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one. Banks takes a kick to the side of the head. Banks misses with a double jab.
Good shot there by White. White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Banks throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Banks throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
Banks misses with the body kick and White counters with a lovely straight right hand! Banks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and White finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Banks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Buster Banks is winning the standup battle so far. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Banks moves away. White moves in looking to clinch but Banks pushes him off. A looping hook to the body misses from Banks. White does a little dance to reset his feet. A nice leg kick lands there from White. Banks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. White throws a nice inside leg kick. Banks scores with a nice strike. White moves out of range as Banks strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. White takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Banks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Banks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. White slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. White managing to control the position. Banks preventing the sweep. White has a closed guard, preventing Banks from standing up. White trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White has his hands on Banks's head, controlling the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hanson White wasn't active enough on the ground. White tries to work over Banks's front leg with a kick but Banks checks it. White misses with a body shot
and Banks counters with a nice body shot. White slips a jab and a cross from Banks.
White scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White gets caught flat footed, as Banks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. White is trying to control the position but Banks postures up. White tries to land a sweep but no joy. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. White trying to strike off his back.
Banks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Banks won't allow White to sweep him here. White looking to control but Banks passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White tries to kick Banks off but Banks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. White is breathing heavily. Banks perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Banks looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. White is trying to get back to full guard. Banks is controlling the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Buster Banks wasn't doing enough on the ground. Banks gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows White to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Buster Banks will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hanson White's cut. That's time! Banks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A combination from Banks does no damage. A punch combination from Banks misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Banks. White does a little dance to reset his feet. A head kick misses from Banks. A low kick from White is predictable there and Banks counters with a nice body shot. Banks misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A combination from Banks does no damage. Banks throws a low kick, looking for White's leg but White calmly moves out of range. White misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks checks a leg kick nicely. A head kick by Banks misses and White counters with a leg kick. White throws a head kick that misses. Banks throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely. Banks throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily. White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. White attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Banks tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Banks misses with a body shot.

and Banks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Banks misses with a double jab
and White counters with a low kick, right behind Banks 's knee. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and White counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Banks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from White. White has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. White connects with a body shot. Banks is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Banks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Banks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
White fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Banks, pushing him back against the cage. Banks avoiding damage as White throws knees to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Banks. White with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. White is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Banks is defending well for now. White lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. White tries to land a knee to the head but Banks blocks with his arms.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. White throws a head punch that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good body shot from White.
A bit of stalling here from Banks.
Banks blocks an uppercut.
Banks trying to control the position but instead, White has worked for underhooks and has pushed Banks into the cage. Banks displaying some good clinch control by pressing White up against the cage. Banks looking to slow down the pace here. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Buster Banks. Banks throws a body kick, spinning off balance and White counters with a nice double leg into side control. Banks won't be happy with that. Sloppy strikes there by White. White tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no White has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Banks defending against the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White lands a nice forearm strike. White throws a strike aimed at the side of Banks's head but Banks avoids it well. Sloppy strikes there by White. White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Banks takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Hanson White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Banks has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
